Castletown Slieve Bloom Senior team will be competing in the Leinster League for the first time since 2008. This league is run involving teams from Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath & Wexford. Below is our group for 2014 and the fixture schedule.
Incidentally, on our only other occasion to enter the league we also met Buffer's Alley, drawing with them 0-8 each on a wet day in Castletown. This game took place on Saturday 29th March.
5 days earlier, on Easter Monday, Castletown had travelled to play Kilmacud Crokes, but lost out on a scoreline of 0-16 to 1-10.
On that occasion the final game, against Clonkill, was not played as neither team could qualify.
