Castletown defeated Clonaslee in the first round of the U21 Championship played at Castletown on Sunday May 18th on a scoreline of Castletown 3-8 Clonaslee 3-6.
Intermediate Hurling Championship Final v Durrow 14/9/75
Sunday September 14th was another historical day for the GAA in Castletown. The Intermediate Hurling team won the County Final beating Durrow on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-11. The half time score was 1-8 to 0-5. The Hetherington Cup which is presented to the Intermediate Champions was presented to our Captain Jimmy Hanlon by County Board Chairman Seán Ramsbottom amidst enthusiastic scenes from the winners supporters.
