Castletown GAA and Naomh Eamann Camogie both qualified for the National Féile competition in 2022. Meath and Dublin hosted the Féile competition.
Ciarán McKelvey represented Laois in the Leinster Puc Fáda Competition having won the Laois competition
Patrick Phelan was appointed to referee his first Senior Hurling county final. Clough Ballacolla beat Camross in the final. Patrick was also named Referee of the Year at the Laois GAA Awards Night later in the year.
His umpires were Declan Keenan, John Palmer, James Hooban and John Paul Phelan (all Castletown).
Castletown GAA nominated Gerry Gaughan for a 2022 Beko Club Champion competition.
This competition is to recognise the hard work of volunteers throughout the Province.
The committee nominated Gerry as recognition for all of the hard work and hours that Gerry dedicates to our grounds each week, year after year.
Gerry was presented with his award at the Leinster Council Offices.
