As well as the senior success Castletown reached both the U21 and Minor finals in 2001 also. The U21s were the first to win when beating Portlaoise, followed by the seniors, but in the third leg of a treble Portlaoise defeated the minors by one point in an agonisingly close game.
Fionán O' Sullivan was Senior Captain, John Palmer was U21 Captain and Brian Ferns was Minor Captain.

In 2001, Castletown became only the 7th club to win 3 Senior Hurling Titles in a row. In doing so they were the first since Portlaoise completed a 4 in a row in 1984. Castletown would go on to win 5 in a row from 1999-2003.
As of 2012 no club has since put titles back to back.
