Castletown GAA wish to congratulate manager Tom Delaney and his management team of Seán Mullaney and Mark Delaney & all the Slieve Bloom Castletown players who were involved in the JFC 'B' win over Emo last night. Winning on a convincing scoreline of 2-10 to 0-7 was a tremendous achievement. This is the second successive football championship win and the team will now compete at Junior A level next year.
Well done to all!
This completes a great Junior B double in hurling and football!

Castletown previously won this trophy in 1994 (also v Emo), captained by Patrick Phelan. More recently they were beaten by one point by Spink in the final in 2004.
